Going Grey with Scrap-creations Challenge: Blue for You!

Happy Tuesday!!!!! I can't believe another week has gone by. Where does the time go? I would like to tell you how cute my image is, or how much I loved to color my card, but I have nothing :(, nothing but a stack of books I have been studying. I had a exam on Monday, and two on Tuesday, and last week I had a exam on top of a ton of school projects. This nursing school business is not working out with my crafty time. Actually, it doesn't allow me anytime. My picture, is only showing you the books I needed to study for Tuesdays test. Some times, I don't know how I manage. Actually I think I question myself everyday. It is all so much. I keep telling myself it will all be worth it in the end. Any nurses out there............Please tell me it will be!!!! :)

Tuesdays = Going Grey with scrap-Creations challenge, and this Weeks challenge is Blue for you. Make a card or project that is Blue & white/or Silver. I promise to have a blue card after these test are over.

As always, we had a fabulous turnout last week, and you all made gorgeous cards and projects inspired by a song. I swear, it is always so hard to pick Top 3. You all are so talented. Last weeks Top 3 are:

Just a Note!

Happy Monday! Wow...where does the weekend go? I had a great weekend, one fo the highlites was a Class I took on Saturday, taught by Melissa Frances at my LSS. It was a Christmas ornament class, and we got to play with some really cool stuff. For the first time, I played with Glass Glitter , and Crepe paper, which I instantly became addicted to. Oh the things you can do with it. Man, I why can't I ever come up with this stuff.

My card today is made for this weeks challenge over at The Stamping Bazaar. I used their challenge for the week, and used Their Louisa the Lioness image and came up with my card today. Did you happen to notice the border around the circle????? It's Crepe paper....I love it. You can expect to be seening a whole lot more of it on my cards..hehehe.....

Well, quick post today. If you love the sketch and feel like playing, we would love to have you join us over at The Stamping Bazaar for this weeks challenge...THERE'S PRIZES!!!!!!

Merry 1st Christmas Rowan!

Happy Hump Day!!!! I know, don't be shocked, I posted two cards, two days in a row.....I miss the days when I could stamp, color and make a card whenever I wanted. School is killing my creativity...I do love that the challenges I play in help force me to sit down and get creative! So today, I am thankful for the DT's I am on and keeping me creative.

Today I have a card for you, using this weeks The Stamping Bazaar's sketch. I used TSB Little Angel on a cloud image, and made this card for my Niece's first Christmas. I am so excited that I used this DP from pebbles, which I have had in my stash forever, and I also used a bunch of my gems that I have had forever. SO, I am so happy to, once again be using my stuff. You know, You have to use it, so you can buy more to replace it...hahahaha....
Well, I need to keep this short and sweet, The Nursing books are calling! I hope you all have a great week, and happy Creating!

Going Grey with Scrap-Creations Challenge: Christmas

Happy Tuesday! I hope you all are having a great start to the week. How is the time adjustment treating you? It always seems to throw my family off, especially my daughter (who's 9). Yesterday, when my kids got home from school, my daughter and I laid on the couch and snuggled, and the next thing I knew, it was 5:15pm. We both fell asleep! I have to admit, that I love that my baby girl (not a baby anymore, but she will always be my baby :) still wants to snuggle with me! So, when I think of the fall time change, the following come to mind, dark afternoons, Thanksgiving, the end of fall, winter is approaching, COLD.....and Christmas!!!!

Yes, Christmas....can you believe it is only 6 weeks aways? I am stunned by this. Where did this year go???? Anyways, this brings me to todays challenge.......CHRISTMAS!!!!!! We want to see all your Christmas cards. Just think, it will be one last card you have make later ...hehehehe

Black and red for Christmas colors......yep, that is what I said when I was making my card for todays challenge. I am a very traditional person, but when I saw this super cute image by STAMPFAIRY, I would hit up my paperpack by DCWV, and go with and go with matching colors to my penquin. I also used this weeks MoJo Monday Sketch challenge.

Not only do we have a fun challenge for you this week, but we have a super fun new sponsor for you as well. This weeks sponsor is STAMPFAIRY. They are a new Digi stamp company with cute and whimiscal images. They are offering the winner of this weeks challenge 3 images of your choice! Wahoo..... Thank you so much Jackie and Gerda for sponsoring us this week!!

We had a huge turnout for last weeks challenge (WAHOOOOO), and all your cards were fabulous!!! As you know, we can only pick 3 for our top 3, and one winner for last weeks prize, which is a years subsciption for Through the Craftroom Door! Thank you all that played. We enjoyed seeing your amazing creations!

Going Grey with Scra-Creations Challenge: Your favorite Technique!

Happy Tuesday! Wow, just when I think I have things in order, the days creep up on me. I can't believe it already November! Yikes....that means winter is soon approaching, and Christmas isn't far behind. Weird how the older you get the faster time seems to go!

Last weeks cards were FAB-U-LOUS!!!! I swear, I am in awww at all the talent out there. So, we have another wonderful challenge for you this week, and a brand new fabulous sponsor as well. This weeks challenge is: pick your favorite technique... when I sat to make my project this week, I actually thought "what was I thinking with this theme", honestly, I don't consider myself a "stamper". I am more of a papercrafter that loves to color. Who was I kidding, the only ink pad I use is a memento black, never mind a technique, but when I started to look around, I decided a technique can be anything really! I have been dying to try this little 3x3 notecard box I saw on splittcoast a while back and decided it was a technique to try:) It was super easy, and rather quick to make, and I am thinking it would make perfect teacher gifts for the holidays (if I can find the time). God knows I have enough paper to make a ton of sets. I am also going to mention that I use SU stamps...wahoo...they have been tucked in my drawer and I didn't think they would ever see the light of day :) Hey Pia...I am using my stuff!

As I mentioned, we have a brand new sponsor this week, who also happens to be a friend and, in my opinion, one of the most talented people in the business. This weeks sponsor is Through the Carftroom Door ,owned and operated by Suzzane Dean and Marti Willis! In case you are unfamiliar with through The craftroom door, it is a fairly new magazine that offers, templates, tutorials, copic tips and tricks and so much more......The winner of this weeks challenge will win a 1 year subscription... Thank you so much Suzanne:)

Like I said, last weeks cards were all amazing, but we have to pick the Top 3, and the are....
